If you want to stay in a cabin, I would make your reservations now, as they are likely to fill up. They are dog friendly, but do have a few rules. No aggressive dogs, they are required to be kenneled if left in cabins and MUST be on leash while on property.
You can go up anytime you like and leave anytime you like. We will start driving on Monday the 23rd with the plan to reach Dalhart and camp overnight. We are taking two Jeeps, the teardrop rv and a second trailer with the ATV on it. That is 600 miles for us. Then on the 24th we will finish the trip to Southfork, 328 miles.
Camille, Alex and I will be camping at base camp (Trail 360 Wilderness Camp) from 24th through October 2. We will then transition down to Chinook and hook up to a RV site there through October 7th. Then start back home on the eighth.
